How much will you break? Maybe not immediately, but eventually (& sometimes on the first jump) the whole vehicle! Things like diffs bending, swivel hubs collapsing, diff ends bending/breaking off, blowing tyres, bending rims, breaking rims off the hubs, bending/breaking extended shocks, bending shock or suspension mounts, cracking/bending the chassis, tearing mounts off the chassis, collapsing seat mounts, collapsing body mounts, ripping roof rack mounts off the gutter & collapsing the roof rack onto the roof, the list goes on and on!! Lifting a wheel every now & then isn't usually a major issue, but purposefully jumping a car that hasn't been specifically modded to take it is a recipe for expensive repairs or even writing off an otherwise perfectly good vehicle!

You want to jump your vehicle, build up an off road buggy or comp vehicle for it (and trailer it to/from wherever you do your jumping!) but don't use your daily driver, especially if you NEED it or can't afford to have it off the road for a month while it's getting repaired!!

BTW, the jumping scenes in TV shows/the movies usually destroy about 15 identical cars to get enough footage to make up one good jump sequence. ;-)
An Ex-Service person is someone who thought enough about their country & how great it is, how lucky we are to live here, to write a blank cheque made out to 'The People and Commonwealth of Australia' for the value of 'Up to & including my Life!'
