Can't locate fuel filter on 1997 4.0ltr Wrangler.

Unread post by lylov8troopy » June 26th, 2012, 1:19 pm

A mate of mine has a 1997 petrol Wrangler. He has told me that he has searched high and low for the fuel filter but can,t find it. Can anyone help me?

Ps. Also his heater is cold. Do they have a heater tap or are they controlled by a deflecting flap in the heater box?

Regards Lylo.

The fuel filter is in the tank. GoJeep's site will help you with both problems.

Don't worry, XJs & TJs share an engine.
