my baby :) love her soo much more then my old ifs lux haha this is how she sits atm next week i get my snorkel lokka pyro guage and boost guage and 4 spoties on the roof. going to change my mud flaps to rubber instead of those steal ones they just keep bending. after all this the truck is done besides some finishing of on the suspension. will include stuff like ubolt flip invert rear shocks further so i can fit my pro comp 14 inch shocks, extend bump stops extended brake lines, remove even more leafs and all leaf clamps. relocate spring hangers to achieve better shakel angle, then chop chassi and tray just behind rear spring hanger for maximum departure angle.

go the cruiser

Hi Gents,

Congratulations, you guys drive a legend... The toughest 4x4 ever!!!

Quick Question, for the ones that have fitted suspension and new tyres to their cruisers.

Can you fit a 2" lift and 285s to a cruiser without having to certify the car (eng certificate) to keep it legal?

I am planning to do this, however I want the insurance to cover any accident.

I know that there are a lot of threads discussing this, but none of them on a LC70. I don’t mind If I have to do it, I just want to know if this is required (2” + 285s)

I live in Melbourne.

Cheers,

The first one developed a really and noise and stopped. They cop a flogging and are rarely turned off. The other one we have sees about 150-200kms every 12hr shift, all on rough dirt roads.

Apparently no one read my post, or may be the question is too silly to be answered

Or maybe the community of new LC70 is too small yet

No worries, if someone has info regarding this topic just post it!!!

Hi venom,
You posted in a pictures thread you really needed to start your own thread or post in one with a similar topic.
Most forum users also do not know a comprehensive answer to this and with teh varying regulations in different states it gets confusing.
Your best bet would be to talk to vic roads and or an engineer in the state. Nobody who tells you anything on here can be gauranteed to be correct anyway..

Cheers

The Mickey Thompson website lists the outside diameter as 884mm, which equals 34.8 inches.

Got an update on that 200 series....those tyres are 325/60x18's which equates to just over 33.2" by 13.3 wide.....nice regardless.
