Great Job PP, it is STICKY!

Cheers Peter

As said this is only a start and I encourage feedback and input from other members so we (the members) end up with something that can be a great resource for all.

Bit of Housekeeping PP.

Can you edit that 'Bible' Post? I expect that you should be able to own posts, so you should be able to use the edit facility to fine tune that first post as/when things come up or are improved upon.

I can keep the thread clean & to the point, so for now, I'll leave it as is right now; just a sticky and not locked, and if others have things to add, they can:
post them in here, or
PM them to you (or me) and
they can get added to the 'Bible'!
If they are an approprite post to have their own status, they can stay in the thread.
But, if they are not up to the high standards already set, they may be modified or deleted.

I can manage that side of things, or any of the Administrators & a few of the other Moderators, but ask them nicely please, they'll be doing it as a favour!

Anything else we shpould think about right now?

I will keep an eye on this one, seeing as I suggested it, and add links to the original as they happen.
I haven't finished but as you can appreciate it will take some time to go through the forum and get the bits we need.

Great thread idea Patrolling Paddy, I'm adding it to my subscribed threads for sure. I have no doubt it will be very popular.

Here's a thread I found that could be added to the WHEELS section: http://www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/f10/ ... set-28207/

Just an idea as i'm in the process of desinging a set

Andy, I am more than happy to put in what the people would like.
Having said that I am one person and it will take me some time to collate all sorts of links (I will only be concentrating on this site).
If you have seen a thread that you feel should be included then PM myself or Peter and I will endevour to get it added to the BIBLE for all to use.

Great idea though.

Here are a few links for Cargo Drawer Construction. I haven't read them all, but the ones I've read look pretty good. I'm gonna build a set as soon as funds allow, probably using 'DT's Home Made Roller Drawers' as a base.

http://www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/f22/ ... ers-35635/
'DT'S Home Made Roller (DT'S Home Made Roller Drawers.)Drawers'
'Rear draw system'

'Fridge Slide/Drawers for 2002 Hilux'
Drawer system for MQ swb on a buget'

Pil, I greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and effort to put those links up for us, however although they are all very informative, they are also for Toyota's and a MQ.
This BIBLE is directed at GQ/GU so at this stage I don't think they will be included in the BIBLE but perhaps if you added these to the General 4wd FAQ's or PM'd one of the moderators about starting your own bible in the general 4wd or for another model??

Here's a thread I found that could be added to the WHEELS section:
Consider it added Pil, this has some info that can be handy if putting aftermarket wheels on or setting up for some good mods.

Yeah, fair enough. I noticed they weren't specific to GQ/GU's, but they also dont have any specific measurements, so I figured that poeple could get the general idea and take it from there. But you're right, they probably dont belong on a dedicated GQ/GU thread.

I have been through the Nissan Tech section and the GQ/GU BIBLE is up to date from that as of 5/8/07.
Please feel free to add to this as the more input I can get the better the BIBLE will be.
My next mission is to go through the other sections and find relevant info to add to the GQ/GU BIBLE.
