September Photo Comp.

Unread post by the-viking » September 3rd, 2016, 2:18 pm

Topic: As chosen by 'the-viking'.

'B&W Landscape'

Step outside your comfort zones guys. Get creative!! :)

You may display as many photos as you like, but you can only enter one. If there is multiple images, and you haven't nominated which one is your entry, the first one will be entered.

Photos must be taken within the submission period. EXIF data will be used to verify the date the photo was taken, so make sure your cameras time/date settings are correct. Some software removes the EXIF data. If no data exists, you will be asked to provide it, re-load the photo, or remove the photo.

No exceptions to the above rule. If there is no EXIF data, or the times don't match, your photo is ineligble to be entered and will be removed from the competition. If you don't agree, don't enter. Your entry will verify you agree with these rules, so no negotiations will be entered into should you disagree later.

The idea behind this is to get everyone thinking, and get out there and shoot something you might not normally take a photo of. It's not designed for who's got the best photo they took three years ago.

Submissions will be open from Midnight Wed 31.8.16 to Midnight Fri 30.9.16

Well this month ain't looking promising either at this point anyway. :(
Come on guys. I don't think it's a coincidence that it's died off since the upgrade, or downgrade which ever fits.

Well I might as well announce Octobers topic as chosen by Coops, and that is '
'Australiana'

Maybe the warmer months might pick things up??????? Here's hoping.

Nup... No prizes; but I don't think that's the reason. Just too much of a coincidence that the air started going out when they changed the interface of the forum and stuffed up the mobile access. Not one issue raised by the members has been addressed. Anyway, what ever the reason it is what it is. Would be good to hear from the regulars on here as to what their reasons are. See what happens this month..

^^ Gotta agree with that the-viking, but I'll also add that it seems to coincide fairly neatly with Brenno hitting the road as a Roving Ambassador/Editor-at-Large & leaving it to those left behind to 'keep the home fires burning' in the A4WDA office...... :(
An Ex-Service person is someone who thought enough about their country & how great it is, how lucky we are to live here, to write a blank cheque made out to 'The People and Commonwealth of Australia' for the value of 'Up to & including my Life!'

Hi gents. I'd like to participate more, but the site is frustratingly slow and I like to use mobile devices. Prizes don't matter to me. Sharing and rising to challenges are all I seek.
I got a 4wd again too. Check her out. I call her Sandy.
