Thanks mate.
I think nearly all of these I've posted at some point over time but I was just topping up this thread seeing as though I can now upload from PHOTOBUCKET and have the larger images. All these years I've just been doing the thumbnail thing. Lol.
I also asked Peter Aawen how the hell do you just quote a section of someone's post, and I've now got that under control as well.
I keep going back to your website mate and having a gander. Besides all those smashing shots, your so different to your avatar image lol. Doesn't look like the same bloke. Hope it all goes to plan for you. :thumb:

I've got a leg in as a car TOG through a contact and needed the website for them to link to (it's a long story). Not expecting any sales or anything like that but the ultimate aim is to slowly but surely set myself up to a point where I can maybe (just maybe) do this thing as a semi-retiree and travel to all of these great sites taking more photographs.

Anyway website & FB pages are up and running, first show is this weekend and two weeks later is the Hot Rod & Street Machine Spectacular

Some throw away telescopic signage stands from Liqouorland, some old umbrellas and some cheap flash/umbrella brackets, $6.75 for the two off ebay. All up $6.75….. :)

Just filling in a rainy avo.
It's amazing what a cheap set of extension tubes and an old 50mm FD 1.4 reverse mounted lens can do. Other than the one with the pencil the other two are Focus Stacked.

Quite challenging and interesting playing around with light in this field.

Friend owns a fragrant type shop and wants some product shots done. Little bit rushed as this is due to go on her webpage tomorrow. :)

thanks mate.
This is the make shift mini studio. Bloody challenging shooting glass but I enjoy that challenge. You can see my LED torch on the mic stand just to the left. That was aimed at the label just to help pop it a bit. I'd have probably done the back ground differently too had I had more time. Cheers.

OMG!! What a challenge. This little bugger is about 3mm long. Never seen such a small Money Spider. I think there was about 40 shots and this was the best I could get. Just not sharp dam it! lol.
Reversed 50mm @f16 with x3 extension tube. Flash on a flash bracket with home made diffuser using triggers to fire the flash. Bit of a beast when its all together… lol

A little more cooperative fly this morning…..
Iv tuned my set up a bit. Its a little less bulky and the flash is more over head. This image is sharper but I'm not sure if the old FD 50mm f1.4 may have to many internal blemishes. Keep plodding along I guess. :)
