Equipment stolen from Bacchus Marsh SES unit

Unread post by juzzbott » August 17th, 2015, 1:42 pm

Hi All,

Just wanted to post this in-case the items come up for sale on here, or through other channels. Last night, the Bacchus Marsh SES unit was broken into, and 2 chainsaws and a generator were stolen.

The stolen items are one brand new Stihl MS362 chainsaw, one older Stihl 029 chainsaw and one honda 2kva generator (red in colour).
Further damage was done to other equipment before the thieves fled.

The theft occurred at 03:39am, with two offenders, one wearing a balaclava and one wearing a hood over their face.

If you know anything, or have seen anything, please contact Bacchus Marsh Police. Please keep an eye out for anyone attempting to sell this equipment.
This is a significant blow to our volunteers who fundraise hard to purchase this equipment.

Cheers,
Justin

Damn! Sorry to hear that juzz, hopefully someone will hear or see something to help.

Shame it comes to this sort of stuff, altho I wouldn't mind betting that the very same low-lives who do this sort of thing will be amongst the first to bleat if the local SES doesn't front smartly with the right gear to help them out in their time of need! :irked:
An Ex-Service person is someone who thought enough about their country & how great it is, how lucky we are to live here, to write a blank cheque made out to 'The People and Commonwealth of Australia' for the value of 'Up to & including my Life!'

Desperate druggos most likely after their next ice fix!.

One can only hope their meth lab goes up with them in it and there's no firey's or SES available to save them, due to lack of equipment!.

Poetic justice? ;)
