For a while now my flexy coils have looked pretty sad, not happy with how they lasted at all.

So after a lot of debating and being a bit dubious as to how stiff tough dog springs used tobe, iI went with light duty tough dogs, and ive gotta say I'm impressed! They ride very well! It sits spot on too!

Also they are the same free length as the flexys, so the flexys have no advantage over these at all.

So the time has come to make some big decisions on Cranky, the LS1 was in need of a rebuild due to bad fuel and a slight lack of oil....

Now the fuel is my main problem, with no access to premium and mixing ocatane booster not being a practical alternative I had to decided weather to put a diesel in him or rebuild what I had but still not be able to use him..

After MANY months of deliberations Ive decided to rebuild the LS and send Cranky back home (tassie) so that I can at least do a few trips a year down there with him..

So it begins..... the Re-rebuilding of Cranky!

Pulling the motor out in the carport is not my version of fun

Are you rebuilding it as is, or are there any changes you plan to make whilst it's all out?
