I believe you forgot the main material required, BEER. You organise the bender and die to suit whatever material and bring it to my house and some bending and burning of metal will happen. My suggestion it to have them removable so some tube that is a telescopeing size to suit your front bar and sliders is needed to make a join.

Removable with a grinder or gas axe, I would prefer them welded into place, I might have to go 1.5" tube so we can use Joshy's die and bender. I'm at the age where Beer is always involved in all proceedures, therefore it doesn't even need to be mentioned. As we all know 'No beer, no work'.

Grab some of these off Brooksey, last time we spoke he had them.
Or you could get some off Flanagan :p

How ya going Dave?
I need 1.5" die around 38mm so I can get close to the 40mm NB that the front bar and sliders are made from. I might see if Brooksy can help me out with those bar clamps.
The caliper are hanging on the slides are ok so I may need to overhaul them and check the piston and park brake mechanism.

got 1.5 too, I use it on NB tube for shock hoops etc.
With the calipers, Lemme know if the roller brearings in the pivots are rooted, you can't buy them, but I managed to find a siilar one that works when I rebuilt Brians. :thumb:

Edit:

Give me a call, the number I have for you doesn't work.

The bending side of things is all you need to organise Adam, actually you should buythe die.

Andy your welcome to use the dies - i have 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 3/4 and 2" however after previous poor experiences of letting others borrow the dies and the effort to get them back when i need them, you would have to use em at mine.

i might come over one day and we can discuss the plan, you got any 1.5" tube floating around hint hint, say half a length at the very most?
