40's going great no issues with it, i was going to turbo it but then got offered a 1hd so i was going to put that in instead, so i put the turbo on my 75 series project but the 1hd sale fell through so now i'm on the hunt for a good 12ht 60 series to part out and grab the motor and 5 speed to put in the 40 just got to find the right one which is proving to be more difficult then first imagined but it will happen in time. no other updates as such though.

Cheers Waitesy.

i have mate wanting to sell his fj55 has a genuine 90,000kms on it she's a 1977 with the 2f petrol motor body seems to have a fair bit of cancer in it but it could be repairable, all seats are in great nic i don't even think any of them have tears. and has everything still on it from factory. he was chasing $1000 for it pics on request.

Love the troopy mate!
Dont forget that if you turbo your motor or do an engine conversion to a 12ht you wont be allowed to drive either legally when you get your Poo Plates. P plate laws suck :(

cheers mate yeah p-plate laws suck so much otherwise i'd be looking at a 6.2 or 6.5 chevy diesel motor for her haha. also thats why i led away from turboing the 47, but i was talking to vicroads guy and he reckons because the motor is a 'factory turbo'ed motor' i'm aloud it, because its a factory thing where aftermarket 'add on' style ones arn't aloud. so i'll see what happens.

you can drive factory turbo diesel on p plates but it must be a factory fit to the vehical or a option for it so motor swaps and trans swaps are not allowed unless like i sed it was a option for that model

Also you are not allowed to drive a car with any engine performance modifications at all, regardless of it being petrol diesel etc.
That also means engine conversions are out. Sorry :(

You can still do your coil conversion at least :)
