Looking good. You need some good lights up front now and a winch. The locker will amaze you. Ours is an ARB but the effect off road would be the same I reckon so enjoy.

Got a winch and lights fitted this week. After lots of research I decided to get a TJM OX 9500lb. I had the control box mounted up high on the drivers side of the engine bay, and the remote plug mounted on the bullbar.

Took it out to Mount Mee for a test on a gentle slope, and I must say its a lot slower than I expected, although I think that may be because of the battery, which I will replace soon.

The lights are Lightforce 170 Strikers. I was going to get the Narva ultima 225's, but got taked out of them by a few sales guys at the national 4x4 show last week. Im happy with the 170's, as I didnt want to go with overly big lights, and they light up the road well, waterproof, solid and have a good warantee.

My current coil springs are not coping with the extra weight of the winch, and Ive never been happy with them anyways, so yesterday I ordered Lovells HD coils for all four corners.

Next on the list is the bushskinz sliders/steps to replace my mangled factory steps, and then Ill be done for a while.

Well I found out why the winch was so slow. I took the Paj down to battery world. They tested my battery and advised that the small piece of crap was only producing 330 CCA, where the minimum needed for my winch is 650 CCA. I came home with an new Amaron battery that produces 720 CCA.

My new HD Coils arrived this week, but I havnet had the time to organise to get them fitted b4 the long weekend. Will get them in there next week, and they should give me a bit extra clearance.

Nice Paj mate...loving the build up!!

You'll find that the OX Winch is rather slow pulling, (even with a new battery) but it will keep going all day without an issue!

Top work anyways mate, keep it up!

Snap,

can I please ask where you got your battery from and how much.

I need to replace mine for the exact same reason.
