utedriver wrote:Dave the airbags have been great, I find there good for when I'm towing the camper trailer and towing trailers full of wood. I only have about 10psi in them. In the bush unloaded i run about 8psi but 10psi is fine for me. Having a rear on yours I think you would benefit from a set of bags.

Heh heh mine does! :D

Had to put a new bush on one before the high country trip - nut had been loose and wear happened - and checked both rear shocks. After 25000 odd km botha re still tight, working great. Foam cell ones.

I have just returned from a weekend camping up on the King River in the Vic High Country. We arrived about 10pm on friday night after doing the 5 river crossings to our campsite next to the site of the burnt down king Hut. We had a another couple join us at about 11pm in there v8 100 series,

We woke in the morning to a crisp spring morning so the fire was lit to cook up eggs ect on. The weather was spot on for a trip away so we made our way up to Lake Cobbler hoping to tackle the staircase on the way up. Unfortunatly it has been dozed since last year and no longer existists. This made it a easy drive to the lake. After checking out the Lake and the waterfalls we had lunch and made our back down Little Cobbler Track to our campsite were we relaxed by the river for the afternoon.
The clouds rolled in and we had about 5 spots of rain but that was it before the clouds broke up to a very bright night with awesome stars!!
We awoke again to another awesome morning with not a cloud in the sky and brekky was cooked agian on the fire followed by a day morning aroundc amp before heading for home about 1:30pm.
We took heaps of pics here is a few i thought I'd post up

Cheers Adam, My guess the Staircase has been dozed to help the fire access to the area. Even though there is 3 ways up to Lale Cobbler, actually there is 4! ;)
