duck i think we're going to have to rename this place to psy and ducks 4wd forum. ***** man where is everyone? aaron they don't love us anymore?

anyway heres some pics

so my springs were in a W shape, the weight of the v8 was none too good for them, so out they came and some HD 2" lifted went in - rockcrawler from 4WD1. small problem though :

nothing that couldn't be overcome though - note the use of the flat spring holders. nice.....and further overcoming - the dropped drag link, mine was fucked anyway so thought i would piss it off and get a new one

and whats a good job without making your own tools along the way

well u could buy the strap on tool for 35 bucks on ebay. but i wanted to get the job done so DIY. its not a toyota SST. its a GST - greg-service-tool

just replaced the shocks. of course you do that at 10pm on a Friday night. in a hilux its a 10 minute job!!!!

bleed brakes and put the longer front brake lines in tomorrow.

then off to the country side late arvo.

still here. the thing doesn't get used much. it fouls plugs as the V8 is on its last legs unfortunately. have a V6 lined up to go in, instead :)
