yep been camping down there at least once a year for almost 20 years now... shame to see it closed off for "rehabilitation" bit of a joke when there was only one track that was still 2wd accessible and only 1 or 2 campsites that were frequently used, the rest was over growing..

Looks great Josh :thumb:

I've run out of money at the moment with renovations starting round the house and the wedding coming up, so I'll have to watch what you do with yours :D

Thanks, that's it for the big stuff I think, the rest of the mods planned are just little things and tidying up what's already done.

got the dual batt isolator mounted, goes underneath the 2nd battery
Image

All wired up
Image
Image

Got some easily removable roof racks, only reason we will be using them is for kyaks
Image
Image

Offset fairlead showed up for the winch
Image

Removed the waste of time centre console and got a cooler to fit there, just need to mount it somehow.
Image

Andd used it for the reason i bought it, towed the Navara to the new house. i wasnt too worried about weight distribution as only went a couple of streets but it does need some new heavier duty leafs, the factory stuff doesnt take much.

Looks like you need some airbags in the back to assist the leaf springs mate. Only problem with them is that they limit flex a bit.

Yeah really not keen on airbags mainly for that reason, hopefully an aftermarket 2" leaf pack will do. the rear already sits a few mm lower then front due to 3" in the front and only 2" in the rear.

Mate you still got your front sway bar on? And what's the travel like on those remote reservoir shocks? Is it any different to "normal" shaped shocks

Nah sway bar is out. Think they have the same extended length as any other 4" shock, where I get my gain tho is Ive only got a 3" lift.

oh righto, yeah i tried swaybar extensions but fouled the tailshaft with the superflex arms, 4" lift and 5" shocks so just removed it, i was looking into those shocks but because my ute can weigh 3.5t some days or 2.8t on others by removing my canopy i decided to go the tough dog adjustables and fitted the wireless controller, which im glad i did in the end seeing as the swaybar removal really turned it into a boat hahaha
