Many thanks Ian. I was right with the firewall as it is from the same donor as the engine and I spaced the engine same distance from it. Was just a bit tight between the radiator fan and the front of the engine. Too tight to even change a fan belt comfortably so hope this fixes that problem. I like things to be easily serviceable if I can.

It's been nearly 3 years since I've been here in the Action forum & this was the first build I looked for. good god I had a lot to catch up on. Awesome work mate as usual.
I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.

Making the most of our checked luggage limit coming back home through the US! Still can't believe we brought all this home plus our luggage which varied from thermals for -18*C in Taos to snorkelling gear and a dinner jacket for the cruise in the Caribbean!

About a 1000 stainless fasteners and three more body hammers as I don't seem to have enough already. ;) Custom made bead roller dies too to match the beads on the cab.

Had to partially disassemble the 27" beadroller as it weighs 84 lbs on its own and were only allowed up to 50 lbs per item. Tooks the shafts, dies, handles etc out and got it 0.5 lb over the limit but they let it through! Another two of the other 4 bags were just over too, but the last one was under enough to get it all excepted.

Bonnie and I are going over to Canada later this year, I don't think I would be allowed to buy and bring home that much gear, even if I found bits I would like. :)

Jeez mate, that's not good! :( Our condolences to you & your family. I hope you don't have too much trouble sorting the estate, that can be a drawn out at times, & not always just due to the bureaucratic nightmare that successive governments have made it!! :o

Thanks guys. Not looking forward to dealing with the legal side of things but at least no one is unhappy with the will or what they would like to have from his possessions. It is good we have such different tastes and interests. Some of the troubles I see from others shows is it often not this way.
