Anyone tried Engels new 30l fridge drawers?

Unread post by kid » December 31st, 2016, 12:08 am

Hey all.

I'm undecided on what fridge to put in the back of my wagon. I have come across these fridge drawers by engel. They go down to -6. Cost around $900. Good for day trips/1nighters. But still leave enuff room in the back for other *****. Has anyone used one? Good/bad points? Is -6 cold enuff to use as a freezer.

Need to get out more

It may go down to -6c but as named, it is a fridge drawer. Anything which is called a freezer goes down to -18C.
Unless it has far more insulation than it's fridge cousins, the drawer will use more power than a top opening device.

It seems to be a trend rather than a decent practical concept, in my opinion!
