Putting a Holden V6 engine in a 2000 Toyota hilux

Unread post by Brentroxslindy » January 26th, 2016, 7:13 am

So I was talking to a few guys about my hilux and they said it's really easy to do a engine swap.
At the moment I have a 2000 Toyota hilux 3L non turbo, these guys recon put a Holden commodore V6 engine in. I do like the sound of a lot more power. But what is involved, it can't be as easy as swapping the engine and driving away, can it?
Cheers Brent

There are quite a few threads that could be helpful reading here already...

Admittedly not all are about fitting Holden V6 engines into your Hilux, but regardless they all convey some valuable info about conversions in general as well as those specifics that do apply! ;)
