I have one, does not seal all that well but my mate has the ARB version and similar issues. The locks work ok on mine, i just wish the tailgate locked like the Ranger... But I do regret getting the EGR - should have gone ARB

I've got one on a BT50, it seems fine, locks OK and no obvious leaks. I did adjust one of the lock strikers just after I got it.

I bought one and fitted it myself. My god what a pain in the backside. I fitted an ARB one to our old dual cab and it was a piece of cake. I did notice the EGR canopy is a lot heavier, I would guess, almost double, which I like. It does not vibrate at highway speeds like my ARB one did.
But getting to your problem... I had trouble getting it to seal at the back and getting the locks to work properly. I ended up removing the centre locating bolt on the front the lip of the canopy (as in, right behind the cabin). To me, it made the canopy sit too far back on the tray and left quite a gap. I moved the canopy forward about 5mm and spent a long time getting the latches just right. You have to loosen the striker bolts just enough so that when you close the window, it puts the striker in the right spot. Then with the side window open I tightened the bolts up while applying a small amount of pressure to the rear window.
I also had to adjust the length of the rods between the centre handle and the latch mechanism so that both hit at the same time and opened at the same time (these rods are two piece & threaded). I don't believe they adjust any of this when they build them.

Stick with it as once you have it closing correctly, they are a much better canopy! :)

I have an EGR on my Ranger. I fitted mine myself and didn't find it too bad. I had some issues with one lock not holding on properly. It would unlatch itself while traveling. Tried adjusting striker but that didn't help. Took the cover off the locks and found the one on the RHS wasn't square to the latching point. All that required was loosen off mounting bolts, reposition lock (only a few mm out of square), do bolts back up and then has been all good since.
