Hi Everyone.

Been lurking/trolling this for a while working out my new rig. So have ordered a BT50XTR in Black kitted with ARB gear fitted through dealer incl Safari Snorkel, Deluxe Bar, Ascent canopy with trade rack, ARB/OME 2" suspension 300kg and a kaymar rear bar with DJC and WC. Really looking forward to the new machine, big fan of these trucks and are awesome to drive.

Mods already underway
Tailgate dust sealing kit from Auto Rubbers in Vic - kit in transit. Biggest problem with these vehicles so hitting it first

Future Mods in the planning:
Side Steps / sliders (personally arb's are not strong enough). Looking for a adr approved set with option of brush bars
MTs in either 32 or potentially 33s
Tub storage, draws etc. still designing what I will build
Move current dual batt system over, 150ahm AGM with CTEK 250s
Move current lightbar 28" over
Plus other bits and pieces, awning etc
UHF, still undecided on new one, my uniden UHF001 (40ch Dinosaur) is to be replaced. Any feeback on the Icom 440 or 450 would be great or equivalent GME. like the small control box to mount in centre glove box as not a lot of room on dash.

So hopefully new truck will be ready in next couple of weeks so will put up pics as soon as I get it.
Rig being replaced is a 96 NJ GLS Paja, 2"lift 2" body on 33 MB-764s. MCC bulbar, DIY sliders and rear bar with carriers, custom rear storage and all the creature comforts.

Superdude that is a sweet looking ride. If you don't mind me asking what price did you get the rims for?

ARB is taking forever to get my canopy but finally got a date of 18th to get the keys.

Hey Superdude, just sent another PM about your Avatar pics - sorry it's being such a hassle but it is being looked into! ;)

Just picked mine up the other day in Townsville lads. Got it for $36500 with a fair bit of fruit on it. I did a clip on it so have a look if you have a spare 30 minutes. Cape York next July. Just got to get drawers and dual battery so we can camp in style up there.

Cheers Buck
