Happy birthday to.......ME

For the stuff that's NOT 4WD related, here's where you can come on in and discuss it, but do play nice!

Congratulations on achieving such an auspicious milestone in your life..... :ooh: Have you started planning yet for that big 5 0 bash next year, or are you trying to ignore the gradual erosion of your youth & vitality as the years slip past increasingly rapidly?

Seriously tho, Wishing you all the good stuff on your Birthday, I hope you have a great day & an even better lead-up year to your 50th! :thumb: Got a big celebration planned, or just getting out in the bush to enjoy life?

I got a big hug from my 24 year old. Although I appreciated this I wonder why he did this.....when he said "happy birthday" I realized that it was my birthday indeed.
So, nothing planned....
The next one deserves a little bit more work....

Nice idea to 'be somewhere' on such an occasion.
Maybe an iconic 4WD location, or somewhere more exotic overseas depending on your, and your accomapnying persons likes.

How's the health / weight loss going ?
Would be nice to be reasonably fit for 50.

At risk of thrashing that dead horse "...the forum has been really quiet lately - where is everybody?..." I suppose you had better wish yourself Happy Birthday as it is so quiet nowadays, you might wonder who of the "old crew" is still left - no one left to tell your news to.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Big Dutchy! May many more tracks and adventures 4wd be yours.

Yes, it's very quiet on the forum.

My health is great my weight loss is slow but is still happening.

At the moment I am not doing a lot of exercise. My wife is not well and I rather spend time with her than on my mountain bike or even 4WD.
But I am fairly fit I think. Ride my bike normally 3x a week. Do a bit of canoeing, jetski-ing etc

Thanks

The big 5-0 ain't so bad from memory!

55 however and all bets are off, that's when it all goes to shyte, and your Ambitions exceed your capabilities, you get diabetes, high blood pressure and bad cholesterol, then you d!ck goes limp (Erectile Dysfunction/limpd!ckitis) and your farts get follow thru & prostate exams become annual events!.

Don't get old - there's nuthin' in it I tell ya!

:bun: Happy Birthday BigDutchy
How does it feel to be so young .
Enjoy your 49th Birthday & I hope you look forward to your 50th more than I did. I just had my 50th in January & I didn't want a party , I spent my 50th in the Victorian High Country & ticked off something I always wanted to do .
Drive the Davies High Plain Track towing my camper.

Cheers TLC60S

Happy birthday for yesterday BD, I'm not one to make a fuss about birthdays, but you gotta do something to show up the younger ones when you hit a milestone they think is the end of you. I want to do a skydive on my 65th in a few years, show my smart ar*e son who has the bigger balls. . ( he's scared of heights   )
