That's a joke, $500 for a 3 to 4 day walk . . . wonder if they expect you to also buy the normal Tas Parks Pass ?
I have walked quite a number of the iconic tracks in Tassie, but will give this one a miss, as spectacular as it might be, there are equally as good a walks / views all around our country.

Wonder though if this is a premium walk, like the Overland Tk walk you can do it with private company staying in their flash huts, getting fed, etc.
Myself, prefer tent rather than huts, which are often filled with big crowds of backpackers.
