For the stuff that's NOT 4WD related, here's where you can come on in and discuss it, but do play nice!

My street scored landcruiser BINGO!

Unread post by Rogers Cruiser » January 21st, 2015, 12:42 am

Hi all,

Just some irrelevant drivel. :frog:

But today in my street (of 22 houses) we nearly scored landcruiser BINGO.

My parts FJ45,
my HJ47 troopy and HJ47 project ute
Next doors, HJ61
Accross the road has an 80 and a 100 series.
down the road has a prado 90 series
and there is a 75 series ute on the corner

So who else has a street full of something in perticular?
'98-'06 - FJ-45 Ute fell over one day and didnt survive
'06-now - HJ-47 Troopy, restored and now daily driver.
'13-now - HJ-47 Ute, Farm fresh rust bucket, needs a restoration. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=152811

now - Off Road Box/Camper Trailer. viewtopic.php?f=134&t=153968&p=1792444#p1792444

Dont listen to me, Ive got an opinion on everything!

;) We have nearly fifty per cent of houses in our street with a 4WD parked in the driveway
& on top of that two thirds of the 4wds are Landcruisers. :woohoo:

:( Sad thing is we only have 7 houses on our street with one 80 series , one Pajero & my 100 series.

Cheers TLC60S

Rusty Commodore with P plates... rusty Commodore with P plates... rusty Commodore with P plates...

We did go to a 'roo shoot once and had every model of Landcruiser represented. In white even. Then a dude turned up in a Paj!

Only real 4WD's in my street;
Mazda Tribute, Ford Territory, Kia Sportage and much more of this kind of classy vehicles!!
As you can see only the very best in my street!
There are also a few real sports vehicles!! A Kia Koup, Toyota 86, Hyunday Veloster and the likes
and then a few out laws, boys with Land Cruisers and Patrols, I am sure you know that sort of trouble!!
Other than that a nice and quiet street!!

A street full of drinkers. When the recycling truck comes down the street
you can see people running inside for ear muffs.

Our bin alone sounds like meteorites smashing into a glass factory. I think ours is the loudest
so i win i guess.

LOL. Where's the like button. Our bin is like that after a BBQ.

We do have some 4wds in the street. Some young guys around the corner with a mix of Zooks and various tricked out utes littering the front yard. Another young guy down the street with an old 2-door Rangie. Guy over the road has a plain Jane work issue wagon. An old work mate lives in the next street and he's got a well equipped 80 series. Down the other way there's a house that has a mix of Jeeps and 60 series on the nature strip.
