Hi guy's just finished my second model. It didn't turn out to bad, a couple things that could've been done better I guess.
I used the Movin On model kit to build this. I had to source new battery boxes/steps as the kit only supplied one. The kit itself, being such an old kit. A lot of parts didn't fit quiet well. I removed the chrome of most parts as they weren't nice at all. A couple parts were missing like, the indicators on the fenders, the clear lenses for the bumper lights. The clear plastic for the windows wasn't very clear either.
Over all I'm quiet happy with it. Now on to the trailer and the Bandits Trans Am.
Cheers

My other Hobby is flying...
RC helicopters, currently just broke a Twister 400; was a fixed pitch 425mm rotor diameter. Upgrading to 450 size collective pitch soon (rotor diameter 750ish mm). Most likely an Assault 450.
I'm also learning how to fly ultralight/recreational aircraft. Currently have 8.5hours on a Skyfox Gazelle.
Family x-trail...big toy awaiting

Had a road train come in late the other day and the driver called me up to ask what was happening,

I asked him if he'd seen the bit of the movie where Snowman overtakes Bandit and gets to the fairground on time?

"Roger,"

"Rightoh, You be Snowman, I'll be Bandit, Let's go."

Boss tried to give me a growling to but couldn't keep a straight face, most of the operation was in stitches.

The next truck I build was the "Rubber Ducks" Mack from the movie Convoy.

This kit's completely made in resin.

The trailer for it will be completely scratch built. The decals will be put on the truck when I've done the trailer.
