Mazda BT50 | Ford Ranger | Nissan Navara as tow vehicle?

For the stuff that's NOT 4WD related, here's where you can come on in and discuss it, but do play nice!

Having worked in the insurance industry, I'd be concerned about towing more than the rated allowance given insurance may be voided in the event of an accident. Similar situation to bald tyres where a claim would more than likely be declined when an accident occurred as a result of the vehicle being unable to stop within a reasonable braking distance due to the tyres being bald.

Obviously bt50li, you will be aware of your vehicle's capabilities, but pls be careful...unless you can afford to repair or replace your vehicle without insurance covering the repairs or replacement?

Will hop off my soapbox now! :) Cheers, WW.

Oops, just when I thought I'd gotten the hang of forums, I realise I didn't see your update bt50li. Sorry 'bout that, but very happy to see the amendment in weight! WW.

Hi Wendy, I know thus is an old thread, but wondering how the Jeep is going after a few years.
Cheers
