This here is some of what got interested in 4WD as a kid. I was a Ford mad child and like all little boys love playing with Tonka Trucks, so of course Monster Trucks (especially BIGFOOT) appealed to me in a big way.

I still have all my 1980's American Monster Truck VHS' around somewhere.

Rob! you just brought back sooo many memories! I had a monster truck vhs too! Very oldschool. Did yours have a video of a guy driving his monster truck in a lake - floating?

If it is, then this is the video that I had:

I have 'Battle of' and 'War of the Monster Trucks' and 'BIGFOOT: King of the Monster Trucks'.
I remember watching 'Return of the Monster Trucks' but unfortunately couldn't find it to buy.

I remember watching 'Battle' when the presenter is talking to Bob Chandler (owner & creator of BIGFOOT) and they start talking about '4x4x4' - "That's four wheels on the ground, four wheels driving and four wheels steering!" That blew my 6 year old mind.

Here's some more old school BIGFOOT clips:

Yes double post, but I'm trawling Youtube now and I won't be stopped!

1978 Australian Landcruiser Ad (40s and 55):

1990 Ad for the 60 Series Landcruiser, would be considered very racist today.
