Brindies 16 Apr 11

Unread post by VK2 » April 17th, 2011, 8:40 pm

Well with a clear blue sky when we woke, the wife and I decided to wake the kids and go for a drive into the brindies for a BBQ lunch at McIntyres Hut.
First we stopped of at Mt Coree for a look, it was then on to Macs hut to cook lunch while the kids had a run around and play.
After lunch it was home to clean the truck, a great day out on the tracks instead of sitting in front of the tv watching the football.
Here are some pics of our day. Thanks.

Hi bushy84 - McIntyres Hut is at 35°15.942'S, 148°44.281'E

VK2 - looks like another great Fully Loaded trip. Wish I could have been there! See you guys soon @ Watagans :) Love the new ride - LC 105 with live axles front & back, coils on all corners - sweet! How'd the new GPS go?

Hi TD4,
The GPS was great well worth the money already. But like you said there is alot to learn about it. I cant wait for the snow so we can go for a drive up around there then.

Sounds good - let us know via the usual method when you're off to the snow. My missus may not go since she really feels the cold but I'd be up for a drive if the timing works out.
