Chilli Plum Roo Stew

Unread post by icollidge » April 22nd, 2013, 5:43 pm

This one is easy as, and bloody delicious!

Ingredients:
1 kg Diced Roo
2 x Cans of crushed tomatos
2 x Bottles of Plum Sauce
1 Tube of Chilli Paste
1 Tube of Garlic Paste
1 kg frozen bag of winter veggies

Simple method, stick all of the ingredients in your camp oven and give it an hour to an hour and a half.

Only thing to vary is how much seasoning you want and maybe keep a liter of water handy to top it up if your embers are too hot and evaporating all the juices out of the stew.

Yeah, it is pretty tasty, I like to do this in the pressure cooker at home too, the meat just falls apart and plum is the best flavour ever for gamey meat.

The Chilli ain't half bad also
