Don't you usually just upend the fridge over the top of the fry-pan to empty all the broken eggs out, then pick out most of the shell, add milk, salt, pepper, etc & whisk away??

You're laughing, I've seen it done - more than once!!

But you can get pretty good scrambled eggs by putting the frypan on over low heat, adding butter or marg/oil whatever, a touch of milk (mixed powdered or whole fresh, just make sure it's liquid) & then cracking the eggs into the mix (keep the shells out if you can! Fish out if you can't!) Once all the eggs are in the mix, scramble with a fork or whisk & then turn the heat up. Keep scrambling as the heat does the cooking - works wonders, can be done over a campfire or gas, tends to be less likely to end up watery, & you can add anything you like before you turn the heat up/move onto hotter area of campfire, only 1 pan & 1 fork/whisk used in the cooking, all the egg shells go in the garbage/fire/wherever you put them, & no eggy jar to clean or toss - you can even use the cleaned fork to eat the scrambled eggs straight out of the pan! (just don't rest it on your knees while it's still hot!) One Pan, No Mess Cooking!!

An Ex-Service person is someone who thought enough about their country & how great it is, how lucky we are to live here, to write a blank cheque made out to 'The People and Commonwealth of Australia' for the value of 'Up to & including my Life!'
