Thanks bouncing Betty...sort of committed myself to doing it right!!! Worse case I'll get good coin for it when I sell it.. I've taken photos and receipts of all the work done so I can prove it to the new buyer when it goes to a new home.. Wouldn't mind a chopped 80 series!!!

Big Arvo with the 2000 grit and cutting compound... Finally laid the top coat on the bonnet.. Pretty happy with the outcome as I've never really painted before..

Well... Sick of painting so I decided to go out to my cousins performance shop and borrow my own welder!!! I was going to just block off the indicator cut out and cut new cut outs for the led fog lights I bought on ebay... But my OCD nature got the best of me so I decided to "French" them into the bar for a flush look. Anyway here's the result!

Pretty happy with the result... I'm keen to know if people think it's a little different to what they see everyday

Those lights are a mint idea. I was going to do that with my rear bar with some 6" bars. Keen to see it painted!

Yeah thanks kirbs...I like idea of changing things up a little so they look stock but people go "hey that's different"! Have a go buddy that's what I do...this is my first 4wd too.. I could of just bought a new hilux and wacked black sunnies and called it good.. But where's the fun in that? After spending most free weekends working on the old pig rig I've now got dudes that stop for a chat and ask what I've done now.. There's even a dude that lives inter street with the entire arb catalogue hanging off his truck and even he pulls up and gets his sticky on!!! Haha

Just out of interest who knows the best place for pinchweld and door gaskets or rubbers..I've seen what ebay and Clark rubber have to offer! Is there a better place than these above mentioned places?

Id appreciate any help from fellow 4wd'ers

The truck is looking great mate, love the bullbar aswell. Try some of the American sites for rubbers and seals like LowRangeOffroad. If you get a few parts like extended brake lines and other bits and bobs it's definitely worth the postage!
