Wow!..BEEN waiting for an Update mate!!! ;) ;)

The Landy is looking awesome with that paint Job!...I believe the front diff is the weaker Rover diff and the rear is the stronger salisbury diff :)

That thing is the meanest landy ive ever seen... Its an absolute credit to you persisting with it when it could have been easier and follow the crowd to tojo. Looking foward to seeing more of this big brit. Consider me subscribed!!! :thumb:

been a while since i last posted no major changes just more broken stuff have snapped 2 tail shafts and stript the teath off my front diff in the last 2 weeks :)
looks like its time for some ashcroft 4.3 ring and pinions :)

well cars been off the road for a while the new ashcroft gears are hear but i havent got them put in yet. have also started work on a new winch bar.

G'day mate,
First up, its been a while any updates?! :D
Secondly... I've been looking at Defenders for a first car myself, I'm just afraid that it will soak up all the money I don't have... :redface: I am more than happy to spin the spanners myself and thats partly why I'm so keen on one. I'd probably looking at spending anywhere from as cheap as possible to $12k or so
So basically is it a good idea for a first car or am I better off saving my pennies for a while to get one thats been well looked after?
Any advice would be grouse and I love what you've done with yours mate!
