Unread post by smash250 » October 7th, 2011, 11:31 pm

Hi I am from Team Outlaws4x4 we are one of WA's off road competition teams competing in just about all discipline of off roading from Rock crawling, Extreme winch challenges, and soon my latest truck will be finished and i will be breaking into off road racing.

Here are a couple of pics of the actual race teams rigs.

75 series Toyota full 6-point roll cage running hydrolic assisted steering and 40" tires.

Nissan Gq patrol Ute with roll cage, 180+RWKW TD42 turbo running 37 and 40" tires with hydrolic assisted steering.

And this is our last truck which is still currently under construction, being built for off road racing. Nissan GQ patrol/trophy truck/class 8 running Independent front Twin traction beam front end, 3-link rear 600hp V8 and a whole lot of safety roll cage protection!

We also run the http://outlaws4x4.com/?page_id=266 which is where all the build ups of all the race trucks are. As well as build up from other peoples rigs just like this section of this forum.
if your interested in off road 4wding then come check out the site or forum there heaps of technical info and all the hardcore stuff alot of places dont cater for we would also love to have you join the many other hardcore rigs we have in our build up section to share tech with and drool over the sickest rig.

Well its been a while since iv been on here, anyway thought i would post a bit of an update on the Outlaws4x4 class 8 extreme 4wd truck.
Been lots of work progressing on the truck over the last 8 months, A lot of work has gone into the front end of this truck. Although originaly based of a GQ patrol chassis, the chassis and part of the cab is all that is left of the patrol and the rest is an assortment of custom made and modified other parts. The Front end is what some people might reconises as a ford F-truck Twin traction beam front end. It has been modifyed to accomodate the extra width and strength needed for the aplication. It has aso been designed to allow aprox 18" of front independant suspension travel, which far passes the orginal 6-8" of travel the standard patrol has. Also Maxxis Tyres are looking after us with some awsome Maxxis Big Horn Tyres. The truck has come a long way over the last 8 months and is set to be complete end of the year early next, mainly funding being biggest hurdel. Dont forget guys to check out our forum at http://www.outlaws4x4.comto see the full build up of this truck and many others.
