Not really any updates just yet. I only got home today from another stint at work so hopefully I'll get some more done soon.
This is how it sits right now. Can't wait to get home and get some more done to it.

while it's this far stripped back you should get that chassis painted in a nice red!! Would look sharp.

There is still a whole heap to do to the chassis before I get that far. Still not sure about what I'm going to do with the rear section of the chassis. I need to have a better look at the rules for the different comps that I'd like to compete in and see if I can tube the rear end. There is a wide variety of comps that I'd like to try my hand at. Everything from winch challenge to desert racing. I won't be focussing on one particular class of racing because of my work commitments so I'm trying to give myself the best chance of getting some seat time.

Not much to update at the moment. I've just got back home from Thailand so its still sitting in the shed at the moment. I did however order all the new suspension but there may be up to a 2 month wait. So I'm going to start on the other fab work and the interior.

Well I'm sick of waiting for my suspension to turn up so I've gone and bought some other goodies to let me keep pushing forward. Today I've bought a type 3 tube bender and I also bought a break upgrade kit from Brakefab W.A.

Tomorrow I'll be getting the lockers and the hub kits and bearings and I can start to brace and build the front diff. I can also start on setting up the front linkage too. Next big purchase will be the atlas transfer and C4 auto.

Well that is the fastest I've ever had anything sent to me. Can't say enough about the service I got with buying the model 3 bender from JD2 and OPW. Just after I placed the order yesterday I got a phone call to make sure it was all in order and that everything was in stock and that they would send it out today. I didn't expect it to arrive today as well. Its already bolted to the floor of the shed ready to start bending stuff. Maybe I should have ordered the steel at the same time. haha. I bet it wouldn't arrive the same day.

Looks like a great bender, how much did it set you back? We are currently putting up a big shed & I am going to start fabricating my own stuff, I got welders just no bender or anything.

It cost me about $1600 with 2 sets of dies. Not cheap but is an awesome bender. Depending on how much I use it later on I might even upgrade it with hydraulics. It gives a really nice bend and is very easy to use.

Thats probably not too bad cost wise if it gets use which no doubt it will, there looks like there has been some hard work put into this MWB, should look good when its finished.
