Well I made up some fish plates and welded them on to the mounting brackets to give it a bit more strength. They are 10mm thick now. I'll just add a little lateral bracing now and they will be good to go. I've also got the top mounts cut out and ready to weld up once I get the bar work in place. Just need to get some tube to start fabbing all the bar work.

Well I got bored yesterday and saw the plasma cutter and though what the heck. Why not cut all the crap off the front of the chassis. :D

toughnut, just watch the undercuts on them welds man.
easiest way for cracks to start!
