76 Series GXL Landcruiser

Unread post by Cruiser100TD » October 3rd, 2014, 12:27 pm

Hi All,

Well you have probably all seen this car before and I do not really have much to do on it but here she is..

2008 76 Series Landcruiser
Plenty of accessories on it

Stuff to do -
Roof Rack and fit my awning
Electric Brake Controller

and thats about it really..

Just fitted a new 100 amp second battery, Thumper Air Compressor with 9L tank, alarm and has been given a full service.

Car will be used as my daily work car but also for a 4x4 toy and towing our Jayco Expanda Caravan.

Basically upgraded from a 100 Series Landcruiser as I wanted a bit more towing power which this seems to have plenty.

Yeah I can see and have read the entire thread on the car of how much work has been put into this car.. Great car.. absolutely love driving it.. Done nearly 4000kms in it in the last 4 weeks so I'm doing a few kms in it..

It has definitly gone to a good home and my kids love the car.. Haha.. always want to take it everywhere.. Have just put a couple of DVD Headrests in for them so they love it even more now.. :D I cannot belive they did that with the flares either! I am actually going to pull them off and get them painted blue again!

Hi Cruiser100,

You can get the paint color made in spray cans. Any decent paint shop should be able to do that. I've had some cans made in Bunbury. It's always handy to have a can in the shed as the flares are the first to loose paint.

Enjoy the vehicle.

Not a bad idea with the cans.. Have a mate that's a spray painter so might get him to do them first and then have the cans for touch up.

Will enjoy it for sure! :D
