So haven't updated in a while, thought it might be about time. There isn't too much to update really just been using the rocky, neatened up a few bits and pieces and went away to little desert NP with a mate over the long weekend for an explore. pretty sedate driving but beautiful place to visit and camp.

The final speaker set up and stainless stereo shroud that i made

Okay so now a bit of a trip report, A mate and I traveled over to Little desert NP for a bit of an explore. We came in on the Sunday in the afternoon from Dimboola, we had an explore along the Wimmera river and the tracks close to that. Not knowing the area and having done pretty much no research on the area we set off for a camp site to park up for the night and crack a few cold ones. Well we used a map that I had and went in the direction of camp that was listed on there. After watching the sun set we kept driving towards the camp site, lucky im afraid of the dark and have some good lighting for night travelling. after not being able to find the camp site we soon realized that it was a hike in only camp, so we felt a bit silly. After back tracking a little we found a good dam to set up camp for the night.
The next day we set about getting as far to the other side as we could, we stopped at some sights and a nice camp site for a bit of lunch. we exited outed of the center block about 4:30 Monday night.
Overall it was a beautiful place to se and will be going back there very soon and now have some good camping spots sussed out.
The map attached has a yellow trail which is roughly the one we followed for the 2 days. alot of pictures but ill just post up a few.
Also the only drama I had was the new tabs for lights snapped off under the weight and corrugations of the lights so that is the only thing that needs fixing.

So haven't updated in a while, I have done a few mods, and also theres some plans for big mods coming very soon but more on that later.
so the mods in the pictures are my jerry can for water plumbed up to a pump and tap, my air compressor also plumbed up in the back instead of under the bonnet. And a turbo gauge in the dash.
oh and a picture of mate fixing his busted fuel line from the weekend.

Also got a second hand set of BFG km2 31's and a second set of sunnies.
Now for the future mods, I have on order a set of bloodred HD trailing arms, a set of 3" pro comp shocks and dobinsons springs. now just gotta get some HD torsion bars for the front and some shocks. Also will be doing a 1" body lift and moving up to 33's.
I've also got a turbo adjuster to wind the psi up to about 13 or 14 to help turn the big 33's eventually.
And will be setting up a dual air compressor set up with air tank.

Thanks monkey bucket, It's slowly getting to where I want it to be.
The snorkel is coming along nicely I got it all fibreglassed up and to shape I like, got a first layer of body filler on and sanded gave it a quick spray as the paint helps find the little imperfections, so one more layer of body filler and hopefully should be all sweet to go on.

Also had my Ironman compressor pack it in so I replaced it with a dual compressor set up with a couple of twin piston hiflow ebay jobbies, managed to fix the ironman one though so that'll be going into the tool box of the motorbike trailer. had the twin setup put two beads back on rims and did it easy so very happy with it.

Hi kalla, love the Rocky, she came up a treat! Nice work. I went through a similar project like you on my Pajero SWB, (although I've been too lazy to start my own thread in the Intros section). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I can appreciate the work you have put into this beast, and it's looking great! I especially like your interior re-trim. Very classy. Looking forward to seeing more of it around the traps mate. Happy trails!
