She's looking good! I speak from my own experience when I say 33's are a tight squeeze on these wagons, you will need a 2" body lift if you don't want to cut up your guards.

Well I have a bit to update, not sure of what i've missed. so I've re done the rear draw with different setup, all slide out containers for a more permanent food storage. I got som 32's so I put them on and so far pretty happy only had a little bit scrubbing which was easily fixed. drove it up to the Murray for a few days camping and fishing and went well then the gearbox went on me so out its coming and putting a low k one for the time being until I rebuild the old one and find a transfer case for it, would like to get crawler gears for the transfer but doubt ill find anything that works for this. also got myself a full length roof rack and a 100w solar panel I had in the shed will go on top to hopefully help run the power hungry fridge.
ill put the pics up in a random order.
plans for the future so far are to get it back on the road within the next week, then heading on a big trip up to newcastle to visit family, will be cutting through the highcountry to the east coast will follow that till wollongong where ill go inland to go around sydney through the bush and then up to barington tops to camp with the fam.
after christamas hoping to head over to do the robe beach run.
for mods probably a set of sliders and a winch.

Looking good mate.
There is something satisfying about building your own vehicle up.
Wish i had gone that way instead of buying my hilux.

Cant wait to see whats coming up.

Okay so finally got the new gearbox in, had to modify an engine mount to fit as the gearbox mount until a new one shows up from japan. so finally the car is rolling again. hopefully finish modifying the roofrack tomorrow, getting tabs welded on and brackets for the roof, then spray it, also waiting on a solar panel to get here which will go on, decided to go for a 100w one so will see how that goes with powering keeping the battery for the fridge going. also thinking of making a fridge slide so might have to find some good draw runners. hopefully get some pictures tomorrow.

hoping to have most stuff done this week as am wanting to go away for a couple of weeks heading from ballarat up to newcastle, cutting through the high country to the coast and then follow the coast to sydney and explore the blue mountains and that area and then go around and up to newcastle.

Also put a jerry can holder on the back which I got.from anaconda cheap, and bought a 100w solar panel for 130 bucks which looks to be pretty good quality so will see how it goes on our trip.

Thought I'd put in an update about the trip and the old girl. Followed the east coast the whole way up starting in Lakes entrance. found some great places good bit of fishing and a little bit of 4by'ing. I have a whole heap of photos dunno what order they go in so will try to put them up after this. the car went well for pretty much all of the trip, uni went on me so changed that before the drive home, then about 6 hours from home i got a hole in the tank, snapped an upper trailing arm so had to take the tailshaft out half way as the vibrations got bad and drove home front wheel drive. luckily managed to get back on christmas eve.
also before I went got my roof rack on with solar panel mounted up.

well I've been slack and haven't updated and added photos. I have had some problems with the clutch on the rocky so hopefully get them sorted.
with the breakages lately I have thought about selling the old girl but I just cant do it so because it is my daily I may look at getting a daily and saving the rocky.
So If I get a daily the rocky will be getting an overhaul, I'm going to redo the rear draws running two batteries one that is removeable for a camper trailer, switching to a dcdc charger with intergrated solar regulator, changing the suspension set up as I'm still not happy with it after 3 sets of springs, none seem to handle the load too well. I will also be making a portable solar panel setup to try chase the sun with and then I will be building a hardtop roof top tent that I have started to design as everything is a bit too wide and high for my car, will be hinged at one end and pop up into a triangular set up sort of thing. now all I need is some time and money

So the rocky got a facelift, a tube that was orgionally made for a hilux fitted on nicely and is now wearing new shoes with a brand new set of BFG Km2's in 32x11.5r15's and they are awesome.
I had a few dramas with a clogged fuel filter from my deteriorating fuel tank so swapped out a new on until i fit up another tank I have.
Also blew the front diff when wheeling so that's a bummer but found a new one so will put that in when it arrives.
DSC_0103.JPG
have done a couple other bits and pieces like a full length roof rack that was a generic one i scored for 60 bucks and modified. also added a 100w solar panel to the roof to keep the battery topped up and works a treat.
got some led spotlights for the bar and dual aerials for the two uhf's.

Okay so for the future, i will look at a body lift for extra clearance, possibly re do the rear draw system with the alloy connect it with built in fridge slide, triple battery set up and putting a ctek d250s controller in rather than the isolator.
will also possibly put an air tank in.
also will possibly be re doing the suspension and putting air bags in

wow mate, as you know I draw a bit of inspiration from your build but this is the first time I've actually seen your build thread, and I never actually realised how much work you actually put into your rig until looking over from the first page lol...

Great work Kalla. I'm loving the bar and rack.

Did you have to modify the bullbar much to get it on?
