so got my snorkel all painted up now just gotta modify the air box and got it hooked up.
Also went to aldi today and bought a UHF so decided to put it into my center console so I had to widen it to get it to fit in a position that would work. so I split down the middle got it roughly taped up and put a bit of fiberglass on to get it to hold position and do all the rest hopefully tomorrow an then whack some body filler on sand it make it all pretty and give it a lick of paint.

well had a bit of a tinker in the shed today, gave the center console a spray of undercoat and test fitted to drive with to see where im going to want things like switches and three point cigarette sockets to sit. so hopefull get it sprayed black and carpet the sides in the next couple of days.
also started working on a bracket on the spare wheel holder to attach the traction boards too. pretty much finished just gotta buy some bolts and butterfly nuts tomorrow.

Hey mate just read your whole build thread, I love what you have done with a small space, she looks like a very capable rig. I've just bought myself a shorty 40 cruiser which I hope to build into a two person tourer/weekend basher, it was good to get some ideas off you in terms of storage inside a SWB forby, I'm a first year apprentice so I will be under some similar financial constraints =(. I will be creating a build thread once I get my cruiser past roadworthy.
Happy cruisin, Cheers =)

well been a bit slack lately and haven't updated this, thought i better about now.
i finished up the console, knocked up a bit of a roof rack thing for my swag and fuel tins to go on, only a small one.
I also finished the snorkel and put that on finally, looks awesome I think.
also been out playing a bit, only have a couple of photos of that though.
oh and a bummer i broke a rear tail light and bent the side step last time I was out.
oh and the other trailing arm snapped again so just waiting for some gear and ill be putting my lift in, also gotta sort some tires out for when I do it, got a few pictures to chuck up but posting them on this is a pain so ill only put a few of the better ones up.

Also forgot the best bit, got to meet the legend himself roothy at the local 4b shop which was pretty sweet. then got all motivated and went and got bogged to the tits with a mate for a couple of hours haha.
ended up getting both of us out after 2 broken recovery tracks and a bit of snatching.

well I haven' t updated in a little bit but plenty to share.
so firstly I snapped my other bloody trailing arm, I had to strap it to get me the 35 odd k home. So I got the new ones from bloodred shipped over. so I put them in with dobinsons rear springs and procomp shocks, new HD trailing arms in tfhe front with shocks still to go in.
I bought myself a birthday present, got a boab double swag and very happy with it.
Also been out to a few sate forests and what not. made some camping lights for mates. also bought an engel cooler warmer fridge just to use for drinks for overnighters Instead of lugging the 70l waeco around all time. theres a few other bits and pieces I'm missing but I'll whack up a few photos anyways of what ive got.

Some photos from the weekends trip to Mt Cole, getting good flex in the rear with the new setup, probably get about 2-3 more inches of travel to whats shown on the photos
