Did you just lose the wagon bit, or have you lost a back seat too?? We need more pics!!

You've got no idea how frustrating this is, first of all you take it swimming, show us a few pics, then go quiet (prolly just to build the tension & anticipation) And then you show us just ONE pic like that!!! AND it's a partial view too, so there's no clear image of what you've done!!! Bleeding 'eck, are you trying to cause heart attacks or strokes for all the readers??

Can we have some more pics please? Bit of a run down of what you've done or are planning maybe??

hahaha, no teasing intended Peter...

But your right, I just looked at the photo closely, and you cant really tell what it is! maybe I should leave you intrigued now?
Its been a while for a good update, before this happened, I wanted to make sure the car was spot on, so they didn't have any dramas with it. the turbo wasn't sounding so good, fraser island probably didn't help it so....

turbo was cactus, so I replaced that with a 16G mamba turbo (direct bolt on for the td42) and made an all new intake for it, had it tuned etc. there were a few headaches with the install, just the supplied oil and coolant lines in my view were a bit suspect.

so the wagon is at creative conversions, its had the dual cab chop/with wheel arch toolbox fill ins and a 700mm chassis extension.
very eager to get it back.

Jesus that's drastic! Super keen to see end result. Going to be a bloody big truck with the extension. What's the completed chop job cost (approx)?

Thanks kev,

the final price depends on what you want done, so it could be different for each build. it is heaps, (prices are on their website) but for me, cheaper to make it a ute, then sell it and buy a newish dualcab. plus wanting solid axle, id have to get the cruiser, too much $$$

Thanks Peter, I have all the steel, materials, lights etc for the tray, already half built, just need to find afew afternoons to finish it.

then work out where to mount second battery, and re run the ctek and all the wiring.

Oh, and modify a full length roof rack to suit.

still never ends.

Sooo... Looking at this so far... I'm expecting great things for the tray!
Hmmm...water damage usually doesn't lead to give rear disappearing so fast...
This means you have a plan... A large and expensive one!!
Sigh... Me too...
Engine swap next...
It never ends...
P.s. if up this way... Yeah let me know if weather permits we should get some fishing done?
Adulthood... its about doing the things you dreamt about as a child...and hurry it up...there is a time limit!

Cheers mate, the tray is coming along, one more day of work then 5 days off so hoping to have it complete by next Monday at the latest.
No, the water wasn't the final straw in the rear disappearing act, I always had an intention of cutting it, was just a matter of when, full size solid axle dual cab with a descent tray!

This whole car has been an expensive one, but its what I wanted it to be now. are you gonna go the FTE?

Sounds good, if im travelling your way, id be keen to wet a line!!!
