Sweet bar work mate! Bullbar looks serious as. Really nice truck mate, is there a lot of difference in the 4.2 compare to the 3? I've never driven a 4.2 so I just don't know. Cheers and again very cool truck keen to see what else you do.

thanks sparkiekev for the comments. ive been driving it all weekend after picking it up on Friday, have only done 400km but im still smiling with how much I enjoy the new motor, power comes on quicker and is more usable, especially down low. holds speeds very well.
all in all, the difference from then to now is huge and im very happy, we did afew things differently from how others are doing the same conversions, took some fiddling but everything works.

nothing major happening with it at the moment, fixing a trailer so I can tow the bikes currently.

my waeco died over the weekend, my brother is gonna get it fixed and use it.

bcf had a sale on the evakool rv60l fridges. I ummed and ahhd and by the time I convinced myself they were sold out. I tracked a display model down at the Labrador store. I got the last one in qld.
for the price and how much saved, I got a transit bag for it too.

I was at bcf the other arvo and seen them on sale. Wouldn't mind one in the patrol. But the bride is adamant it's not for touring/4x4ing. So I have no use for it in other words.

It's better, it's holding boost now. So it's keeping speed up hills where it would normally die. On the highway it's better. It's not a straight up speed machine but better than it was. We went swimming out at rocksberg ther other day, I drove along the creek edge literally 30m long, and got stuck. I tried to drive over a rock and stoved the sidestep in. I've been in the doghouse ever since.
