Then a safari snorkal

Image

And I put my blue tongue air compressor in where my jack used to be

Image

Then some bash plates from ODA

Hi guys cheers for the comments, As for mods to come next, Im really unsure at this point as It doesn't need anything else now. Maybe i should start saving for the chip and exhaust package... I know once we have a child I will be looking at cargo barrier and roof racks but not yet. Im still buying little things though, as i know it will never be finished. The light bar i got off another forum. I imagine it to be chinese as i only paid $150. We are just getting the last bits and pieces before we cross the simpson desert in june.

Anyway a couple of things,

recovery hitch from powerful 4x4,
Image
rhino rack shovel holders,
Image
Image
new boots, 245 75 16 cooper st's. my spare is brand new which makes 4
Image

and thats about it, all i need now is a couple of diesel gerry's and that will do til we come back!

cheers,

Sweet little rig...
Well done getting that rear recovery sorted. Adds to the protection. Nasty crunch that you had there. I will never look back from installing some steel on the rear. Keen to see the new boots on. :thumb:

enjoy

Sweet rig mate, can you do a bit of a review of it? I'm interested in buying one and setting it up nearly exactly like yours.

How do you find the power and the gearing with larger tyres, and is it comfortable and capable?
Thanks :thumb:

Hey guys,

Hilux, This is very comfortable touring car which will get you along way, just don't expect it to go up every fire trail on weekend warrior trips! Gearing is terrible with the big tyres but would prefer to have them for clearance. 8.5 l per 100ks
Hope this helps
