All fitted up now :D

Can't wait for tonight to go check em out!

While i had the grille removed, i noticed the previous owner had rigged up some flywire between the grille and radiator as a bug shield. Good idea, but looked a bit half arsed and tacky. So i trimmed it to suit, and attached it to the back of the grille, Looks much neater now with the bonnet open, and still serves its purpose.

Hadn't considered polishing it lol. but now you mention it, i do have a polishing pad and polish... hmmm
First things first though, need to injure ourselves more on the pitbikes. Pete's got a dirty great big burn on his right leg, and i've got a small cut on my left leg that just continues to bleed lol.
Might wear long pants i think?

We have our moments of insanity, though i must say, maybe the injuries are catching up with us because we actually gave each other racing room, and didn't mow into each other trying to make the overtake stick haha.

Here's some pics a nabbed of my bro this morning at the mx track on his 450.

I'll have a crack at the front tomorrow maybe, see how i feel. I'm having a few problems raising the car high enough to put the springs in.

Haha this wouldn't have been an issue back in Brissy Snowy, take it to work and stick the forklift under her
Sorted!
Option B of course is to remove the wheels, undo the front sway bar and shocks and see if it drops enough to just slide em in n out.

Spewing Mark! i only organised this stuff on friday too!
Ah well, these things happen eh. Does he stock anything besides suspension?

Thats a pretty specific model to modify, though i guess at least he'd know them inside out!

That looks awesome for an RC, love to see the real deal! Have to post it up if you get to get a pic :D
Merry christmas to you too mate!

Fitted the front springs and shocks today - much easier than the rears. (Did not expect that)

Will take a pic at some stage tomorrow.
In the mean time, heres a pic of my digital EGT gauge. Now i just need to wait patiently for my exhaust to arrive :D

Yeah mate, having fun, though i'm getting an inkling to take the trol off road. Only challenge is, my brother doesn't want to take his colorado off road (ever lol) so i've gotta find someone to go with.

Sorry to hear about your dog mate, it's never a nice situation. As much as city life frustrates me having neighbours so close (and the traffic... soooo much traffic lol) i don't miss the snakes.

Hopefully 2013 will be a vast improvement for you!

No exhaust arrival yet :( Hopefully monday before i have to go back to work.
