Thanks mate, yeah the outlay was pretty wild, dread to think how much if I was just dropping it in to places and handing over a credit card for everything. Got dropped off by missus at Bris airport the other week to go to work and was able to actually listen to it drive away. Horn on a jellyfish dude. I seriously love it. Bottom end power is wicked:). You've done a sick job on a zero budget bro

Bit off the topic but bought a second hand camel train CT a while back. Only 10 foot tent and canvas and zips were in pretty poor nick plus with the 3rd ankle biter annex room was bed space only. Trailer is solid as and all gal so bought another tent and whacked that on. Space is now awesome and if it rains the extra room means the kids can still play without being bed bound. Added 2 x 100AH batts, solar regulator (mppt type) with a big 250W panel to ensure batts get charged on poor light days. Welded on support legs at back, extra 4kg gas bottle holder, led lighting, USB charging port, elec water pump for kitchen and will add other elec mod cons as needed. Have cruisemaster suspension with elec brakes and ds350 hitch sitting in shed waiting to be installed and will work out more storage boxes inc making new box (bigger) on drawbar. Add more water storage underneath and will also add a tank for maybe 30-40L of diesel. Also want to build a strut racking system that can have either roof basket or boat or maybe both.

Got a sweet note with the supercharger, and you made that hill look easy lol.

That tent looks fantastic!
If it can't be fixed with duct tape or a hammer, It must be electrical

Just wondering if you used a bullet supercharger?

Poor thing is locked up more often than not due to my work roster Davey. However we are going for a camping run end of Sep which may incorporate some track time.

Yeah Dave it's a solid unit, still have to do a lot to it but none of its urgent (apart from remembering to replace the water tank drain plug that I lost somewhere:)

We went to Borumba Deer Park (Imbil Qld) for a few days. Weather was a bit hit and miss but the kids still had a great time. Nice facilities, and Yabba Creek that runs through the place had plenty of cold water. There is also some great 4wd tracks around Imbil. Nice place to take the family.

Hit DI last weekend with a couple of my mates, one who was happy to do a little filming:

http://youtu.be/yDHu2BGWE7I

Came off Leisha track from rainbow to Di side whole way in 2 wheel drive just to see if it could. It could.drove around a dual cab rodeo with a jet ski in tow bogged to diffs. A Navara thought he didn't need to stop for vehicles exiting the soft stuff until the big troll roostered him in the grainy stuff ( being in 2wd was a pretty wild twin rooster tail). No footage of that as it was spur of the moment. Gave it a really hard run right up in the soft stuff and no engine temp movement whatsoever. Really pleased heating issue is sorted. Love that chev

Same Double Island trip. Weather was cracking! Try to do a run up here, even just a day trip to take family to rainbow side for a swim, every time I'm home. We are really lucky to have this and so many other beautiful and accessible places on our doorstep.

Not much happening with the trol at the moment. Planning on changing diff ratios from 4.665 to 3.5 and upgrading a filter box to a big Donaldson that should get some more air into it. Currently at 110kph my rpm is over 3k so diff gear change should calm that down a lot and increase fuel efficiency. Also considering swapping out the 1900 supercharger for the new 2300. Won't be until next year or if my mate buys the smaller sc and pays me for my old solar panels that he now has then could be a little sooner. Will post up pics and new dyno once air filter is done in next couple of months.

That engine fits nicely in there mate! Not much beats the rumble of a charged up v8 diesel!
