My rubbish truck, seriously how can people treat a beautiful machine like this? Wonder if their house is the same?

Nice looking fourby Kev. You've done heaps to it. I love the Patrols. Such a comfortable car and they're capable of anything. Yours looks like it could get you anywhere & everywhere.
The draw, cargo barrier & fridge setup is exactly what we're looking at eventually doing in ours. Which make of drawers etc did u go for, or did u build it yourself?

Thanks yeah she is pretty sweet. Have added a 3/4 ally roof rack and awning too recently. Drawers - outback, barrier - outback and drop down fridge slide - MSA (ds40). All up just under 2k. I installed myself so not sure how much for that.really happy with all products. Fridge slide is bolted through drawer lid, was not excited about using kit screws to secure it to lid. Feel free to ask about anything else. I'll help where I can:)

Yeah mate it was gross. Drove from Vic to Qld just about holding our breathes the whole way. Spent a week scrubbing and washing EVERYTHING. Found old rego papers in gbox, was owned by a fertiliser mob and I think they were mixing it in the troll :) Pics of new interior carpet, really stoked with colour choice

Updated shot with roof rack and awning attached. Threw away crap brackets and mounted direct to roof rack. Having your own shade is so important specially when you have little ones

At Rainbow Beach last week with family, what is 4L for? (haha just kidding so love that chev:) Also gave it a good run in super soft sand. Temp normally sits around 2/5. Only lifted slightly with extra workout, probably gave the cylinders a good deglazing too. Had tyres at 22psi. Fuel was around 20L/100k.

Good looking truck mate, interested on your thoughts of the chev?

Would you do it again? Or choose a different engine?

It's my second truck with one, but first supercharged. My Sis has a 6.5 turboed 80 series. Goes harder than mine but I don't get the high EGT's even when getting into it. Duramax would be awesome but a lot harder to fit (so I believe). Toying with idea of water cooled intercooler but would have to be a custom jobby so $$$. Not really necessary would only do because I can:) really prefer diesel too. Lots of blokes going LS1's or similar but I think the low down torque of the diesel chev is pretty unbeatable. It's not a drag car but jeez it could drag one:) conversion cost me around 35k inc exhaust and supercharger. Some blokes talk about doing them for half the price but still don't have one. Seriously I effing love driving it

Yeah mate. Bought it through All Car Carpets. Was pretty tedious to fit. But came up sweet
