The rear of the cruiser now sits lower than the front and it's not even loaded. Something I will have to investigate.

Awesome build-up Brades!

Probably read through this thread more than any other haha

How did you go with fitting the CDF11 between the seats? Got any pics of the install?

Cheers

Dan-Bus

Thanks mate! Here's some pics, the install was fine, just built a small box for it to sit on and I made a new well for the coin tray to sit in and used the original armrest lid on the new one..

Snorkel looks good mate. Think I'll also go the waeco armrest like all the other 70 series guys.

Are most guys running the 11L Waeco for their centre console? Have thought about it with the cheap, thermoelectric one but will probably hold off til we can afford the proper fridge.

Hey mate,

yeah if anyone replaces their centre console it's either with the outback accessories unit with n extra two drink holders and higher arm rest matching the workmate and GXL trim of the 76 series for $650- or doing some small mods and building a timber tray to hold a Waeco CDF-11 fridge/freezer. Also acts as an arm-rest, has two drink holders and its obvious feature of a fridge. Fridge $399- (Brand new on Ebay)

I run the 11L all the time, hard wired to the deep cycle, wired under the carpet, and an Engal 40L in the back, both powered from the deep cycle, and charged from the permanent solar 180W solar panel i've installed on the roof.. Happy Days!

Well done Brades the fridge looks good!

Must have been a squeeze getting it in. You have to shift the passenger seat across at all to get it in? Last time i measured it up the fridge was about 235 wide with only 215mm of space between the seats...

I plan on doing this as well at some point as it ticks all the boxes!

Nice work
