Nice looking troopie and sounds like a bargin to boot. Make sure to post some pics of it when you finished the mods and some of it when you go out to play.

Who cares what 4wd you have just get out and use it.
MK Triton 2.8L TD a few mods goes alright.

Seesh just got a few motors lying around.. Kick arse troopy for 7k..
I would by lying through my teeth if I said I wasn't jealous!

going to be interesting going from coil sprung auto TD 80 sahara to leaf sprung troopy. At least it wont be a snail like most others and Ill be able to sleep in the back. No more setting up tents... Anyone know much about these gearboxes?? Im going to put the 1hdt with the standard troopy 5spd. But I have a 5spd and transfer case with a part time kit from a HDJ 80 as well. Have to modify the crossmember to fit it.. Have an auto here as well....

As it was a 1HZ it would have the r151 gearbox for memory which doesn't tend to last behind the turbo motor forever.. some make them last others blow them up pretty quickly..
Th H boxes would be worth dropping in if you have the chance..
