Kiwis trip to Alice and around

Unread post by semper » September 25th, 2012, 6:28 pm

Hi, had to say that I've just got back from 2 weeks touring around in your great country and absolutely loved it!! Flew to Alice, picked up Troopy campers in Alice, saw Rainbow Valley, Chambers Pillar, Coober Pedy, Oodnadatta, Dalhowsie Springs, Mt Dare, Old Andado, back to Alice, then touristy stuff West MacDonnell ranges, Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. Eight of us in four campers, had a ball. Only a taste of the outback really, but amazing stuff to us. Some of the places we had heard about through forums like this, and the 4WD Action DVDs, that made me want to see these places. You are so lucky to have such a big backyard to play in. Can't wait to come back. I've got a 60 series, and took some great photos of these whenever I saw them.

Cheers.
