St Albans Bay

Unread post by Palmer » May 1st, 2013, 3:23 pm

Went for a drive through the dunes at St Albans bay a few weeks ago. I certainly learnt a lesson in the value of correct tyre pressure. We dropped pressure to 20psi, but none of the 3 vehicles in our group could make it over the toughest dune. A few locals told us we needed to be down to 15psi and once we did this we all made it through quite well.

From here it was a run along the first beach until we got to the second lot of dunes, and following this a few more little beaches and headlands before coming out to Bellingham.
A great fun day, and I'm sure we will be back.
