Willangi Bush Escapes

Unread post by sa_on_patrol » May 28th, 2012, 9:53 pm

I've posted this on other forums but I thought I'd share my trip away last weekend. I went up to Willangi Bush Escapes on the weekend with a few others from the 4x4Earth forum, had a great weekend, great people and some excellent tracks.

Would definitely recommend it

Here is a link to their web page.

And some photos from the weekend.

Does anyone here have a GPS track log or a mapsource file for the willangi property or route to the property?

Not exactly, but go to the contact us page on the link on post 1 http://www.willangibushescapes.com/contact/ and the map is there.

You need to go to the office in town (Peterborough) first to arrange payment, a key, and detailed map.

Thanks, yes I've got those gps coordinates from google maps... I have a general idea and the full Willangi brochure, just hoping for a track log so I can calculate rough distances and trip itinery.

Ah, we did that trip in May '12, and was just a weekender.
2 days allowed just enough time to do the 2 areas of tracks, if you've got 3 that would be better.
3 days would be much better.
Fuel up at Peterborough and you should be right for all the tracks in there.

Maybe email Antionette and Niel and have a chat to them, not sure they have anything technical though.
