Drove two hours north to see what the power lines were all about...
Some nice ruts but not too scenic...

Looks good, unfortunately most of the power line easements in Qld are gated and locked.

Seems to be a hot spot for Perth locals - we live in the south west with some great tracks but we thought we would go up and see why it was so popular ...

Good stuff mate,
Good to meet you the other day (top of Lennards hill).
If you want scenic, you can go through the Mundaring state forest; mount Talbot is a nice spot, just keep off the disease restricted area tracks, if you're interested in can try get some hi-res scans of the DRA and send them to you.

Im pretty carefull re dieback, I have some pretty old trees on my block and I dont want to bring any nasties home on my rig.
Was good to see the "Ranger" patrol do its things, youve given my mate some good ideas.
