Sure will be a great trip mate.

Might keep the readers in suspenders as to what we're doing up there next so they'll just have to head up there and check it out for themselves ;)

Hey Trev, going well thanks mate hope everything is well at your end.

Weekend of the 15th & 16th November is the next one and no mate I won't be on the YTBN trip - doing a TD conversion on the 60 at the moment and probably won't be ready until the end of November..

So a bit of an update on behalf of Anthony, i had got in touch with the local mower shop near me Gisborne power products about donating some consumables, And well he has done a pretty darn good job!. So i would like to give his buisness a plug first, only mower shop in gisborne and does everything from push mowers to tractors, chainsaws, brush cutters and also repairs. So if your after some expert knowledge hit Andrew up at Gisborne power products on 5428 8844.

So he has come to the party with, 8 l of bar oil, 2 canisters of 2 stroke mix and assorted cord for the whiper snipper. This will be great as all the fellas use there own gear to cut and clear the track. So cheers Andrew on behalf of everyone, cheers

It all kicks off again this weekend.

Looking forward to catching up with the crew and tackling the new challenge that is ahead of us.

Not much been happening over the summer months but our works will re-commence on the weekend of the 16-17 May.

The 16th May is a significant date at the memorial as it will be the 75th anniversary that the crew of Avro Anson A4-4 lost their lives serving our great nation. Wherever we are on the mountain that day we will be downing tools and will be at the memorial at 1320 for a minutes silence as a mark of respect to these great men.

For those that have been following this thread for the last 18 months and have been thinking of heading up to Mt Torbreck, the 16th of May is the day to make the effort.

Cheers

Hi mate,

As its the 75th anniversary, I wouldn't miss it for anything. You interested in being a part of it?
